Previous | Home | NextI'm getting really close here. At this point, I've already replace the lower fork sliders for new chrome FatBoy sliders. It's really easy, by the way. If you have good basic mechanical skills, replacing the lower sliders will take you about 2 hours and save $60 - $200. If you can remove the fork tube from the triple clamp, you can replace the lower sliders. I made a seal driver out of a piece of PVC pipe. They seat really easily. Of course, buy a service manual and a parts manual first. The manuals are very good and they really help.
