Taper Cutting

We're nearing the end now. This is the cutting of the taper that actually centers the oil pump mounting holes into the cam plate holes. I've set my compound for the desired six-degree angle and am taking very small cuts to avoid stresses on my machine and the pin. Each successive pass results in the end of the taper being nearer that point. It takes about ten passes. When there, the process should be finished.
